"Complete Blood Count"<em> (CBC) </em>is a diagnostic test that is being used in order to check the overall cell counts of the components in a person's blood. Included in these are the<em> Red Blood Cells</em> (RBC), <em>White Blood Cells</em> (WBC), <em>Hemoglobin</em> (Hgb), <em>Hematocrit</em> (hct) and<em> platelets</em>.
If the patient wants to know the number of white blood cells she has, then she needs to undergo a<u> complete blood count test</u>. An increase/decrease in WBC could signal many things like an infection, cancer, bone marrow diseases, etc.
The alveoli is where the oxygen moves out of the lungs and into the blood. At the same time carbon dioxide moves out of the blood and into the lungs to be exhaled.
