The conjunctiva is the part of the eye that consists of the inner lining of the eyelid. It is a thin and clear membrane that covers the front part of the eye surface. Conjunctiva has two parts one is bulbar conjunctiva and the other is Sclera.
It contains the glands that release tears and certain oils and helps the movement of eyes easily and freely. It helps in immunological surveillance and removes it by producing mucus and tears.
