Answer:

Time = 4.1 s

Explanation:

Momentum = mv = (12000)(4.25) = 51000 kg m/s

Momentum = Impulse (mv = ft) so

51000 = (9200)t

t = (51000)/(9200) = 5.54 seconds

Impulse of the current and the engine must equal so (ft = ft)

51000 = (12500)t

t = (51000)/(12500) = 4.08

But accounting for significant figures, time equals 4.1 seconds

Where is the center of gravity if the 9.00 kg mass of the barbell itself is taken into account?
Pavel [41]

The problem is missing some parts but nevertheless here is the answer:

Given:

1.7 m long barbell with 23 kg weight on the left and 34 in the right end.

Solution:

Calculating from the left side:

Center of gravity = ΣM/ΣW = [23*0 + 9*(1.7/2) + 34*1.7]/[23+9+34]

Center of gravity = .992 m from the left end

Conductors, type SIS, for switchboard wiring, have a maximum operating temperature of: _______
Sati [7]

Conductors, type SIS, for switchboard wiring, have a maximum operating temperature of: 194 degree Fahrenheit.

Explanation:

A Panelboard or Switchboard wire is known as SIS.This type of SIS, have tin coating and it is manufactured with a copper conductor insulation. It is helpful for facilitating solder and also it will be easy to fix them in tighter spaces because for their flexible nature.

As they are insulated with XLPE they can be used at a voltage operating at 600 V and can be used at a temperature of 194 degree Fahrenheit or 90 degree Celsius. of The XLPE(Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation is rated for use at 90°C in either wet or dry locations at an operating voltage of 600 V. They can be used for distribution, panel and switch board wiring.

A giant chorus of 1000 vocalists is singing the same note. Suddenly, 999 vocalists stop,leaving one soloist. By how many decibel
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

The decrease in decibels is 0.1 dB.

Explanation:

Let the intensity of one chorus is Io.

let the intensity of 1000 vocalist is dB.

The intensity of 1000 vocalist is 1000 Io.

dB = 10log\frac{1000Io}{Io}=30..... (1)

let the intensity of 999 vocalist is dB'.

dB' = 10log\frac{999Io}{Io}=29.9..... (2)

So, the change is

= dB - dB' = 30 - 29.9 = 0.1 dB
