Explanation:

A Shunt is a passive element, usually resistive, that is used to bypass current around another element, like a meter, that is not able to handle the full current flow.

The voltage equivalent of this is the voltage Divider, once again usually resistive, which is used to block excessive voltage from an element that is not able to withstand the whole voltage.

A Multiplier is an active element that amplifies a voltage or current to enable a less sensitive device or circuit to make use of it.

How do you find the capacitance in this?
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

Explanation:

parallel capacitances add directly

Series capacitances add by reciprocal of sum of reciprocals.

Ceq = [ C ] + [1 / (1/C + 1/C)] + [1 / (1/C + 1/C + 1/C)]

Ceq = [ C ] + [C / 2] + [C / 3]

Ceq = [ 6C/6 ] + [3C / 6] + [2C / 6]

Ceq = 11C/6

When you look at a white light bulb through red sunglasses, why does the light look red to your eyes? What happened to all the o
Lelu [443]

Answer:

The answer is explained below in explanation

Explanation:

Whenever light falls on a colored surface, that color of light is reflected by the surface and all the other colors are absorbed. That is a black body appears black in all lights, because it absorbs every color and a white surface appears to be of the color of the light shone upon it because it is the mixture of all colors of light and reflects every color. The eyes only see the reflected light colors. The absorbed colors are not apparent to the eyes.

Hence, when the white bulb is seen through red sunglasses, it does look like red to our eyes, while all the other colors are absorbed by the sun glasses.
