26+5= 31 correct?
So lets make a chart(ish lol)

Hours         $$$
1                     3
2                     6
3                     9
4                    12
5                      15
6                      18
7                      21
8                      24
9                      27
10                     30
11                       33
To get atleast 31 dollars you need to work 11 hours.
If you want fractions they need to work 10 1/3 hours
Hope this helped!

Hi Citytennisace . I have a different answer than Zachary101234.

In this question, you're working to find the total profit Catie will make minus any expenses incurred. In this case advertising. To put it another way:

Total profit = Revenue - Exp.

Let us say profit is X. Rev is $5+$3 and Exp is $26

5 + 3X = 26
--             --
5             5
      3X = 21
      --    --
       3     3
         X = 7

The above is explained in detail below:

Now she only charges $5 for the first hour so:

Hour 1: $5+$3 = 8

She then charges $3 for each extra hour. To make things simple, you can subtract the cost for the initial hour from the adv. exp ($26-$5=$21) then divide the total by 3 ($21/3=7). This means that to break even, Catie has to work 7 hours. To make a profit, she must work 8.

16, -6.4, 2.56, ..., 6th term
The 6th term of the sequence is
AlekseyPX

Answer:

the 6th term is = -0.16384

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice this is a geometric sequence with first term 16, and common ratio (-0.4)

Therefore the first 6 terms of the sequence are:

a1 = 16

a2 = 16 * (-0.4) = -6.4

a3 = -6.4 * (-0.4) = 2.56

a4 = 2.56 * (-0.4) = -1.024

a5 = -1.024 * (-0,4) = 0.4096

a6 = 0.4096 * (-0.4) = -0.16384

The the 6th term is = -0.16384

Jess jogs at a rate of 6 miles per hour. The next time she jogs she increases her speed to a rate of 7 mile per hour. How long w
Arada [10]

Answer:

0.86 hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Jess jogs at a rate of 6 miles per hour.

The next time she jogs she increases her speed to a rate of 7 mile per hour.

The new rate of Jess's jogging is 7 miles per hour

How long will it take her to jog 6 miles?

Hence:

7 miles = 1 hour

6 miles = x hours

Cross Multiply

7 × x = 6 × 1

x = 6/7

x = 0.8571428571 hour

Approximately = 0.86 hour

It will take Jess 0.86 hour to jog for 6 miles

Given that A varies directly as B and inversely as C and that; A=12 when B=3 and C=2. Find B when A=10 and C=1.5
Kitty [74]

Answer:

1.9

Step-by-step explanation:

The above is direct and inverse variation.

A = kB/C -----------(1)

A=12

B = 3

C= 2

substitute A, B and C into equation (1).

12 = K × 3/2

12 = 3k/2

12×2 = 3k

3K = 24

dividing bothsides by 3

3K/3 = 24/3

K = 8

substitute K = 8 into equation (1)

A = 8B /C --------------(2)

Equation (2) is the equation connecting

A,B and C.

Finding B when A = 10 and C = 1.5

10 = 8B / 1.5

10× 1.5 = 8B

15 = 8B

Dividing bothsides by 8 :

B = 15/8

B = 1.875

B = 1. 9 ( approximately)

Help please I am a bit confused on this.
Anit [1.1K]

Because there are 4 inside angles the sum of the four angles must equal 360 degrees.

Add the angles to equal 360:

4x + 3x + 2x + 3x = 360

Simplify:

12x = 360

Solve for x by dividing both sides by 12:

x = 360 /12

x = 30

Now you have x, solve for each angle:

ABC = 4x = 4 x 30 = 120 degrees.

BCD = 3x = 3 x 30 = 90 degrees.

CDA = 2x = 2x 30 = 60 degrees.

DAB = 3x = 3 x 30 = 90 degrees.

C. It's important to know that a four sides figure needs the inside angles when added together need to equal 360 degrees.
