Instead of buying the things needed by her children from the little money she got, Mrs. Sommer's opted to buy the silk stockings she found while searching for items needed by her kids.
She was drawn to buy it because it gave her the illusion of being a rich lady with no worries in the world. The silk stockings gave her the chance to live her fantasy.

This is the story of the protagonist of the story, Harry Potter who discovers that he is a young wizard and learns that Voldermort had them murdered.
He goes to Hogwarts to train to become a wizard and he makes some close friends, of which Hermione Granger is one of them and he eventually defeats Voldermort.
The character that I would like to bring back from the dead in the book would be Dum-bledore.
