To find the average sum the temperatures and divide by 12, the number of months

sum = - 25 - 20 - 13 - 2 + 9 + 15 + 17 + 14 + 7 - 4 - 16 - 23 = - 41

average = \frac{-41}{12} = - 3.42°C ( to nearest tenth )

For the function F defined by F(x)=x^2-2x+4 find F(2b-1).
Leni [432]

Answer:

F(2b-1) = 4b² - 6b + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Replace all the x with 2b-1

F(x) = x² - 2x + 4

F(2b-1) = (2b-1)² - 2(b) + 4

= 4b² - 4b + 1 - 2b + 4

= 4b² - 6b + 4

A certain fluid is not a liquid if its temperature above 140 C or below 0 C. Enter a compound inequality for the temperatura t w
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

t < 0 and t > 140

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given in the question that fluid is not a liquid if its temperature is above 140°C or below 0°C.

So, the inequality that satisfies the temperature at which the fluid is liquid will be given by 140 ≥ t ≥ 0.

Now, the compound inequality for the temperature t when the fluid is not liquid is t < 0 and t > 140. (Answer)
