Answer:

Here, the given problem,

3+4+5,

By the associative property,

3+4+5 = 3 + (4 + 5) = (3+4) + 5

First way :

(3+4) + 5

In the number line,

Start from 3, go right side 4 unit resultant number is 7,

Then again go right side 5 units the resultant number is 12.

That is, (3+4) + 5 = 12

Second way :

3 + (4 + 5),

Start from 4, go right side 5 units, the resultant number is 9,

Then, start from 3 go right side 9 units, the resultant number is 12.

That is, 3 + (4 + 5) = 12

3+4+5=7+5=12
4+5+3=9+3=12
In addition the order of the numbers don't matter.

What is the slope of a line that passes through the points (3, 1) and (2, 5) Please help! thanks!
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]
3=x1. 1=y1
2=x2. 5=y2

the formula to find slope is y2-y1 divided by x2-x1

so it would be 5-1 over 2-3 which would be 4/-2 and if you need it simplified it would be -2
