yarga [219]

Answer:

This is an example of prejudice.

Explanation:

Prejudice is a judgment made by an individual before knowing something or someone who is the target of the judgment. This judgment creates often negative opinions that prevent the interaction between the judge and the target, and that interaction could be positive, if the pre-judgment had not been carried out. These negative ideas are called prejudice and can be seen, when a person avoids trying a new food, because he judged it as bad, for exemple.

Inessa05 [86]

Answer:

The correct answer is Option C.

Explanation:

1) Simplify 9/60 to 3/20.

\frac{x}{24}  -  \frac{x}{30}  =  \frac{3}{20}

2) Simplify x/24 - x/30 to x/120.

\frac{x}{120}  =  \frac{3}{20}

3) Multiply both sides by 120.

x =  \frac{3}{20}  \times 120

4) Use this rule: a/b × c = ac/b.

x =  \frac{3 \times 120}{20}

5) Simplify 3 × 120 to 360.

x =  \frac{360}{20}

6) Simplify 360/20 to 18.

x = 18

This is an example of negative problem-focused coping.

<u>Coping mechanisms </u>are the strategies people often use in the face of stress and trauma to help manage painful or difficult emotions.

In this case, Elizabeth attempts to divert the focus from the real problem with an unproductive solution.

<u>Elizabeth should focus on a productive solution, and accept her percentage of the blame to achieve personal and professional growth. </u>

Every day we are faced with problems, challenges and obstacles, otherwise known as stressors, which result in stressful situations. Individual coping strategies are crucial to how a person experiences these stressors.
