1. Describe how SHAPE can change during a collision. Be specific with your evidence and add detail to your answer.
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

Hey

of course, the damage of a collision depends upon how fast to objects are moving at each other and how strong they are. If you have two tanks moving at each other 2 miles per hour it will be very little damage and the ->shape<- will not change much, maybe a dint or two. But if two balloons filled with water are moving at each other 5000 mph they will completely evoporate in a burst of light, and their ->shape<- will change very much. This is how shape and motion are related.

Hope it helped

The most powerful respiratory stimulus for breathing in a healthy person is ________. A. pH (alkalosis) B. loss of oxygen in tis
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

D. increase of carbon dioxide

Explanation:

Breathing is automatic and is controlled subconsciously by respiratory center at base of brain. It continues during the time of the sleep and even when the person is not in conscious. Sensory organs in brain and in aorta and the carotid arteries monitor blood and sense the oxygen and the carbon dioxide levels. Usually, increased concentration of the carbon dioxide is the strongest stimulus for the breathing to occur more deeply and more frequently.

When carbon dioxide concentration in the blood is high, the brain increases the frequency and the depth of breaths.

How many grams of O2 gas are in a 3700 mL container at a pressure of 775 mmHg at 33oC?
Zina [86]

Answer:

4.8 grams

Explanation:

Use PV=nRT

P: 775 mmHg (divide by 760 mmHg to get atm) -> 1.02 atm

V: 3700 mL (divide by 1000 to get L) -> 3.7L

n: ?

R: (a constant) 0.0821L * atm/k *mol

T: 33 C (add 273 to get K) -> 306K

Move equation so n is on the side: PV/RT = n. Plug the numbers into the equation.

\frac{1.02atm * 3.7L }{306K} * \frac{K * mol}{0.0821L *atm} = 0.15 mol

Then, convert moles to grams using the molar mass of O2 which is 32g/mol.

0.15 mol * \frac{32g}{mol}= 4.8g
