A concentrated solution is described to a solution where it contains the maximum amount of solute that it can take or dissolve. at a certain temperature or pressure. I am guessing, 1 mM solution of gamma globulin solution is considered as a concentrated solution because it is either the maximum concentration or at least near the maximum concentration the solvent could dissolve.<span />

A particle moves in a straight line and has acceleration given by a(t) = 12t + 10. Its initial velocity is v(0) = −5 cm/s and it
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

The position function is s_{t}=2t^3+5t^2-5t+9.

Explanation:

Given that,

Acceleration a =12t+10

Initial velocity v_{0} = -5\ cm/s

Initial displacement s_{0}=9\ cm

We know that,

The acceleration is the rate of change of velocity of the particle.

a = \dfrac{dv}{dt}

The velocity is the rate of change of position of the particle

v=\dfrac{dx}{dt}

We need to calculate the the position

The acceleration is

a_{t} = 12t+10

\dfrac{dv}{dt} = 12t+10

a_{t}=dv=(12t+10)dt

On integration both side

\int{dv}=\int{(12t+10)}dt

v_{t}=6t^2+10t+C

At t = 0

v_{0}=0+0+C

C=-5

Now, On integration again both side

v_{t}=\int{ds_{t}}=\int{(6t^2+10t-5)}dt

s_{t}=2t^{3}+5t^2-5t+C

At t = 0

s_{0}=0+0+0+C

C=9

s_{t}=2t^3+5t^2-5t+9

Hence, The position function is s_{t}=2t^3+5t^2-5t+9.

In a lab, a 5 L sample of gas with a pressure of 6 atm was transferred to a one liter flask.
wolverine [178]

Answer:

30 atm

Explanation:

P1V1 = P2V2

P2 = P1V1/V2

P2 = (6 atm * 5 L) / 1L

P2= 30 atm

Which sequence shpes the steps of the proces of science in an order in which they might occur?
ivanzaharov [21]

The steps of the process of science in an order in which they might occur

exploration >> hypothesis >> prediction >> experiment.

The correct option is D.

<h3>Explanation:</h3>
  • A series of sequential steps are included in the scientific method, which is how knowledge in the scientific field is acquired.
  • When a question arises from observing the natural world, a hypothesis is a predetermined explanation of the question.
  • Experimental and/or observational procedures must be used to test a hypothesis and determine whether it is true or false.
<h3>What are some fundamental scientific procedures?</h3>

When scientists conduct research and study, they use specific science process skills. The thinking processes that scientists, teachers, and students use when conducting science include observing, categorizing, communicating, measuring, inferring, and predicting.
