Maria's class was having an end of the school year party. The teacher ordered 6 large pizzas which were cut into 8 slices each.

The teacher wants to make sure that each student gets the same amount of pizza. If there are 24 students in the class, how many slices of pizza will each student receive?

\left(\dfrac{-1}{2},\dfrac{3}{2}\right)=\left(\dfrac{4+a}{2},\dfrac{5+b}{2}\right)

On comparing both sides, we get

\dfrac{4+a}{2}=\dfrac{-1}{2}

4+a=-1

a=-1-4

a=-5

And,

\dfrac{5+b}{2}=\dfrac{3}{2}

5+b=3

b=3-5

b=-2

Therefore, the coordinates of fourth vertex are (-5,-2).
