A bag has 10 yellow marbles and 4 blue marbles half of the blue marbles are made of glass a marble is selected at random from that bag what is the probability that it is a blue glass marble

Aye we just finished learning this!    The answer would be the favorable outcome (how many blue glass marbles) over the total outcomes (all marbles added together) So the work would be 4/2=2 (the half of blue marbles/favorable outcome) over 10+2=12 (the total amount of marbles) So the answer is 2/12=1/6
