Correct answer above. substitute and multiply since you know the rate or r and you know the time or t then use d=rt to find the distance. don't think too hard on this stuff it'll come to you don't give up.

D=(r)(t)

D=(15)(3.5)
D=52.5

balu736 [363]
18=p+d+n, 3p=d, 2n=d
The lowest number that is divisible by 3&2 is 6 so, there is 6 nickels.
There is 6 nickels and there is half of that in dimes, 3 dimes.
There is three times the amount of pennies of dimes. 3*3=9. There is 9 pennies.
6 nickels + 3 dimes + 9 pennies= 18 coins

In 1980 and again in 2010, a Gallup poll asked a random sample of 1000 US citizens people "Are you in favor of the death penalty
Digiron [165]

Answer:

H0: p(1980) = p(2010) ; H1 : P(1980) > P(2010)

0.02

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

Sample size in both 1980 and 2010 = 1000 samples :

Proportion in favor :

P(1980) = 0.66

P(2010) = 0.64

To test the hypothesis :

Null hypothesis :

Proportion in favor are the same in both years

Null hypothesis = H0 = p(1980) = p(2010)

Alternative hypothesis :

Proportion in favor in 1980 is greater than that in 2010

Alternative hypothesis = H1 : P(1980) > P(2010)

The sample statistic :

P(1980) - p(2010)

0.66 - 0.64

= 0.02

4x - y = 5 --> 4x = y + 5

substitute

4x + 4y = -4

(y + 5) + 4y = -4

5y + 5 = -4

5y = -9

y = -1.8

solve x

4x = y + 5 = -1.8 + 5 = 3.2

x = 3.2/4 = 0.8

13. In the United States, we measure the temperature in degree Fahrenheit. However most of the other
aalyn [17]

Answer:

in order to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, you will need to use this formula: F = 9/5C + 32. Therefore, you will need to solve for C or substitute values and solve in that manner. To find Fahrenheit temperature for -20 degrees Celsius, you can just plug it into the formula. Therefore, F = 9/5 (-20) + 32 and F = 28.4. If you were given 59 degrees Fahrenheit you would get: 59 = 9/5C + 32 and this would give you 27 (5/9) = C, after you have plugged the values into the above formula. When you simplify you, you get C = 15.
