What makes people healthy can be the type of food they eat such as salad, vegetables and other foods. What makes people unhealthy is when they eat junk food or they eat fast food everyday. I am not saying that to offend anyone. It is just how their parents feed their children to eat the right food to live a healthy lifestyle. It is not only that people are healthy physically. It is also by trusting God with all of your heart. If you don't believe in God, that's okay. Other people exercise so they can lose weight. That is how people can people can be healthy and how people are unhealthy. I am not too sure how to explain the second question but I hope this answer helps you :)

There are vast differences in the health of population groups in the United States. For example at the county level life expectancy for men ranges from a low of 65.9 years in Holmes County, Mississippi to a high of 81.1 years in Fairfax County, Virginia (a wealthy suburb of Washington, DC)—a difference of more than 15 years. Life expectancy for women ranges from 73.5 years Holmes County to 86 years in Collier County, Florida (which includes Naples), a difference of 12 and a half years.

There are also vast differences in behavior which is thought to affect health. At the county level, differences in smoking and excessive drinking vary by a factor of more than two to one. Adult obesity, physical inactivity and lack of access to healthy foods are 50 percent higher in some counties than in others.

Hope this helps :)

How my body maintains homeostasis using insulin?
ad-work [718]
When we consume food, our blood sugar levels begin to rise, since the food we eat is broken down into a sugar called glucose, which can be turned into energy. However, glucose cannot be turned into energy until it enters the cells. Insulin is created and released by the pancreas and it allows cells to take in sugar (Glucose) from the blood. This slowly decreases your blood sugar levels back to normal. When your blood sugar levels are too low, your body might signal you to eat something (tummy rumbling etc.) and the process repeats again.

hopefully, this helps. :)
