P = 2(l+w)
120 = 2(35+w)
120/2 = 35+w
60 = 35 + w
60 -35 = w
25 = w

so width = 25

answer is b. 25 meters

As you know
Perimeter=2(l+w)
120=2(35+w)
120/2=35+w
60=35+w
60-35=w
w=25 meters

And if you want to CHECK your answer
find the perimeter simply with the width that we got.
P=2(l+b)
2(35+25)
2(60)
12 meter^2

Find the midpoint of the line segment given the endpoints.<br><br> (-1, 10) (-1, 6)
BaLLatris [955]

The midpoint of these two points is (-1, 8).

In order to find the midpoint, you must take the average of each part of the coordinates. You do this by adding them together and dividing by 2. We'll start with the x-coordinates.

(-1 + -1)/2 = -1

Now we'll use the y-coordinates.

(10 + 6)/2 = 8

This gives us the ordered pair of (-1, 8)

Answer:

its \: dimensions \: are \to \\\boxed{w = 17.6cm}  \: \boxed{l = 78.4cm}

Step-by-step explanation:

if \to l = 4w + 8 \\ but  \\ \: perimeter(p )= l + w = 96 \\ 4w + 8 + w = 96 \\ 5w + 8 = 96 \\ 5w = 96 - 8 \\ 5w = 88 \\ w =  \frac{88}{8}  \\  \boxed{w = 17.6cm} \boxed{l = 78.4cm}
