Hi! :)

I assume you meant to say the Pythagorean Theorem. The Pythagorean Theorem is a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2} and it is used to find the length of a side of a triangle.

Hope this helps!

In EVERY right-angled triangle the square on the hypotenuse = the sum of the squares on the other 2 sides.  The hypotenuse is the longest side ( opposite the right angle).

So if the length of the hypotenuse = c units and the lengths of the 2 legs are a and b units The theorem says

c^2 = a^2 + b^2.

One half of the sum of a number and 10
garri49 [273]

Let's assume the number be x.

So, sum of a number and 10 can be written as x+10.

Now the given statement is "One half of the sum of a number and 10 ".

So, one half of x+10 can be written as \frac{1}{2} (x+10)

If kevin makes c toys in m minutes, how many toys can he make per hour
mina [271]

Answer:

\frac{60c}{m}

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the unity rule to solve this problem.

Number of toys made in m minutes = c

Number of toys made in 1 minute = \frac{c}{m}

Number of toys made in 60 minutes = \frac{c}{m} \times 60 = \frac{60c}{m}

Since 60 minutes = 1 hours, we can write:

Number of toys made in 1 hour = \frac{60c}{m}

Therefore, we can say that Kevin makes \frac{60c}{m} toys per an hour.

Last semester, 2/3 more students were taking soccer than were taking tennis class. The tennis claw had 129 students in it. How m
Semenov [28]

There were 215 students in soccer class.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Number of students in tennis class = 129

2/3 of tennis class students = \frac{2}{3}*129= 2*43

2/3 of tennis class students = 86

Number of soccer students = Number of tennis students + 2/3 of tennis students

Number of soccer students = 129+86

Number of soccer students = 215

There were 215 students in soccer class.
