I think some factors that influence rabbit reproduction is enough food, healthy rabbits, lots and lots of space for them to populate, and very little predators. This should help I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for though sorry. :^)

Answer: Either the number of producers increased or the number of predators that eat rabbit decreased.

Explanation:

There can only be two reasons for the increase in the population of the rabbits in an area.

One, the number of producers  might have increased so that the rabbits can feed on them easily and fully.

Second, the predators that eat rabbit might have decreased in a huge number due to which the population of rabbits increased in a certain number.
