Set up a proportion that answers men : workers

3:4 is men : women, not it
3:7 is men : workers this is the one we need.

So now 3:7 = 216/x in a proportion..
Cross multiply
3(x) = 7(216)
3x = 1512
X = 504

Determinewhether the two lines areparallel, perpendicular, neither.X-3=6Y = 3x +4
Brums [2.3K]

we have the lines

x-3=6

x=6+3

x=9

this is a vertical line (parallel to the y-axis)

The slope is undefined

and

y=3x+4

The slope is m=3

Compare their slopes

1) Their slopes are not equal -----> are not parallel lines

2) Their slopes are not negative reciprocal -----> are not perpendicular lines

therefore

<h2>The answer is neither</h2>

andre [41]

\frac{(new) - (original)}{original} = \frac{110 - 125}{125} = \frac{-15}{125} = -0.12 The negative means it is a decrease.

0.12 x 100 = 12%

Her weight decreased 12%
