Elena-2011 [213]
I believe that they are becoming more concerned for zoonotic disease because it is becoming more and more common for these animal transmitted disease to spread, such as ringworm or hookworms. The factors that would make these more of a threat would likely be the amount of people with animals or the other animals or people their animals are around or not taking your animal to the vet upon signs of seeing symptoms of declining health.

tatyana61 [14]

Answer:

1. Ignoring the symptoms of stress can lead to a serious medical condition.

2. Changing the way you respond leads to a state of stress reduction.

3. Many people are set in their ways towards all stressful events which leads to a state of responding the same way.

4. When we enter a state of relaxation, it leads to a state where hormonal levels return to normal.

Explanation:

1. Stress <u>is a normal part of life.</u> People experience stress at home, in school, in the office and even when it comes to social relationships. This happens when there's a particular change in a person's routine or environment.<em> A person's response to such situations is called "stress."</em> Stress can cause many kinds of symptoms such as physiological ones. These are: <em>headache, insomnia, diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach, etc.</em> Emotional symptoms are <em>anxiety, irritability, low sex drive, mood swings, etc.</em> Acknowledging these symptoms is very important in order for a person to know how to properly cope with stress. If one ignores the symptoms, it can lead to a serious medical condition. For example, if a person ignores his/her mood swings, then it can result to a more serious condition called <em>"bipolar disorder."</em>

2. Stress management <u>refers to the way a person deals with stress by using certain techniques or strategies.</u> This allows the person to function normally in everyday life. Stress management differs from person-to-person. <em>If a person changes his way of responding to stress, then this could lead to a state of stress reduction.</em> For example, if you are stressed about going to the supermarket to do the shopping, then it is okay to do the shopping online. This is a change in your response. Somehow, this can help reduce the stress on your end.

3. People who are set in their ways refer to those who are not amenable to change their behavior in order to reduce their stress level. For example, if a person stresses you out then it would be best to avoid the person as often as possible. However, a person who is set in her way, will continue talking or spending time with that person although she already knows it contributes to her stress. Then, this can lead to more stressful events for her in the future. She cannot stay away from it, unless she changes her behavior.

4. State of relaxation is a condition whereby the body is able to relax in order to lessen the bad effects of stress. <u>This allows the body's hormonal levels to return to normal. </u>Relaxation techniques include<em> yoga, meditation, tai chi, pilates and the like. </em>This allows your body to be at peace, thus bringing balance to how your body functions. It also <em>lowers the blood pressure </em>and<em> enhances your mood. </em>
