1.  5(x) - [4 + x] = ?
      4(x - 1)
       4 = ?
          x - 1 = ?
           Now let's add ( + ) to your sides
                       Answer: x = 1

2.  \frac{2}{3} (x) -  \frac{1}{2} = ?
     \frac{1}{2}
     \frac{2}{3} (x) -  \frac{1}{2} = ?
     \frac{2}{3}
    L denominator = 3
    R denominator = 2
   Put them together it would be 6
   \frac{4(x) - 3}{6 } = ?
   4(x) - 3 = ?
  Let's add 3 from your sides
 Repeat the process but let's divide by 4
  4(x) = 3
 Answer   x = \frac{3}{4}

3. 3(x) - 2(x) + 4 - \frac{15}{3} = ?
   \frac{5}{1}
   x + 4 - 5 = ?
  x - 1  = 0
 Now, let add the number 1 from each sides
  Answer: x = 1

4.  4(x) + 7 - 2(x) +  17 = ?
    2(x - 5)
    2 = ?
    x - 5 = 0
   Replace the subtraction symbol and make it a addition symbol ( but by 5)
  Answer: x = 5

5.    .5(x) - 10 = ?
       \frac{1}{2}
       \frac{1}{2} (x) - 10 = ?
       \frac{10(2) }{2}
       \frac{x - 20}{2}
        x - 20 =  0
Add the number 20 to each of your sides after replacing the subtraction symbol to a addition symbol
    Answer: x = 20

Answer:

12/13

Step-by-step explanation:

Use SOH-CAH-TOA.

Sine = Opposite / Hypotenuse

Cosine = Adjacent / Hypotenuse

Tangent = Opposite / Adjacent

sin B = opposite / hypotenuse

The side opposite of angle B is side b.  The hypotenuse is c.

sin B = b / c

sin B = 12 / 13
