The correct answer is option A, Transport Water

Reason -

The stem consists of vascular tissues that have both Xylem and Phloem which are responsible for transporting water and food respectively. However, roots take in water  and mineral from soil through the process of diffusion and therefore its mode of transportation is different from that of stem.

Ground tissues and epidermal cells are found in both root and stem and none of them plays a direct role in photosynthesis.

What is the main source of carbon in an ecosystem?
sleet_krkn [62]

The main source of carbon dioxide in an ecosystem is the carbon dioxide gas present in the atmosphere. This carbon dioxide is used by the  plants and animals in different ways.

The plants use this carbon dioxide to perform the process of photosynthesis. This is carried out by the help of green pigment called chlorophyll that absorbs light from the sun, water from soil and carbon dioxide from atmosphere.

The carbon in animals comes when they eat these plants.

Why is carbon important
nevsk [136]
Carbon is very important because Trees take it (Co2) in in order for oxygen to be produced.

All plants for the most part take in Co2 so that they can produce oxygen,
and we need that oxygen to live , to pump blood into our lungs so we can roam around.

It is basically one of the main components of our every day life on Earth.

I really hope this helps you a lot.

ankoles [38]

Answer:

Carrying capacity for the jellyfish would reduce

Explanation:

Carrying capacity of a biological population in an ecosystem is the maximum number of population size the environment or habitat can conveniently cater for given the available resources such as, food, water supply, space etc.

The survival of the jelly fish largely in the small body of water would be largely dependent on how much food that is available.

The large number of mollusks harvested would reduce the available food in the small body of water, hence, reducing the carrying capacity for jellyfish.
