Let's first start off by making 2/10 the same denominator as 5/100. To do this you would need to multiply both sides of the fraction by 10. You wild end up with 20/100. Now we worry about the striped fish. There are 5/100 striped fish, since we have the same denominator we can add them together! 20+5=25 25/100 is reduced to 1/4!

You need to get them both over the same denominator
so 2/10 = 20/100
20/100 + 5/100 = 25/100
25/100 = 1/4

Point A is at (-7, -9) and point M is at (-0.5, -3).
Anit [1.1K]

Answer:

<em>B ( 6 , 3 ) </em>

Step-by-step explanation:

( x_{1} , y_{1} )

( x_{2} , y_{2} )

Coordinates of midpoint are ( \frac{x_{1} +x_{2} }{2} , \frac{y_{1} +y_{2} }{2} )

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A ( - 7 , - 9 )
B ( x , y )
M ( - 0.5 , - 3 )
\frac{-7+x}{2} = - 0.5 ⇒ <em>x = 6</em>
\frac{-9+y}{2} = - 3 ⇒ <em>y = 3</em>
<em>B ( 6 , 3 )</em>
Pls, help me I don't understand! Very urgent!!!! (I have an attachment so you know what the problem looks like)
vredina [299]
1. A pair of supplementary angles: ∠IJH and ∠HJG, ∠IJH and ∠HJG
2. A pair of complementary angles: ∠JGK and ∠KGC, ∠FGE and ∠EGD
3. A pair of vertical angles: ∠AKB and ∠KJG , ∠IJH and ∠KJG
Solution:
<em>Two angles are said to be supplementary when they add up to 180°.</em>
We know that,
Sum of the adjacent angles in a straight line = 180°
∠IJK + ∠KJG = 180°
Therefore ∠IJK and ∠KJG are supplementary angles.
∠IJH + ∠HJG = 180°
Therefore ∠IJH and ∠HJG are supplementary angles.
<em>Two angles are said to be complementary when they add up to 90°.</em>
Given ∠CGD = 90°, ∠CGJ = 90°
∠JGK + ∠KGC = ∠CGJ
∠JGK + ∠KGC = 90°
Therefore ∠JGK and ∠KGC are complementary angles.
∠FGE + ∠EGD = 90°
Therefore ∠FGE and ∠EGD are complementary angles.
<em>If two lines are intersecting, then the angles opposite to vertical point are vertical angles and they are equal.</em>
∠AKB = ∠KJG (vertically opposite)
∠IJH = ∠KJG (vertically opposite)
-x + 4y when x = -4/5 and y = 1/3
Usimov [2.4K]
we have the expression
-x+4y
Evaluate for x=-4/5 and y=1/3
substitute the values of x and y in the given expression
\begin{gathered} -(-\frac{4}{5})+4(\frac{1}{3}) \\ \frac{4}{5}+\frac{4}{3} \\ \frac{3\cdot4+5\cdot4}{15} \\ \frac{32}{15} \end{gathered}
the answer is 32/15
