Answer:

Juan Pablo tiene 9 pavos y 9 chivos.

Step-by-step explanation:

En total son 18 animales, de los cuales algunos son pavos y otros chivos, por lo tanto tenemos:

18 = P + C     (1)

En donde:

P: representa a los pavos

C: representa a los chivos

Además tenemos que la suma de las patas de los chivos y de los pavos son 54:

54 = 2*P + 4*C    (2)

El 4 y el 2 se deben a las cuatro patas y a las dos patas de los chivos y de los pavos, respectivamente.

De la ecuación 1 tenemos:

P = 18 - C   (3)

Introduciendo P en la ecuación 2 nos queda:

54 = 2*P + 4*C

54 = 2(18 - C) + 4C

54 = 36 + 2C

C = 9

Ahora, introduciendo C=9 en la ecuación 3 tenemos:

P = 18 - C = 18 - 9 = 9

Por lo tanto, Juan Pablo tiene 9 pavos y 9 chivos.

Espero que te sea de utilidad!

Volume of a quadrangular pyramid=(1/3)bh
b=base
h=height

b=area of the base=area of a square=8.4 ft * 8.4 ft=70.56 ft²

Pythagoras theorem:
hypotenuse²=leg₁² + leg₂²

data:
hypotenuse=9.6 ft
leg₁=height=h
leg₂=8.4 ft /2=4.2 ft

(9.6 ft)²= h² + (4.2 ft)²
92.16 ft²=h²+17.64 ft²
h²=92.16 ft²-17.64 ft²
h²=74.52 ft²
h=√(74.52 ft²)=8.63 ft.

Volume of this quadrangular pyramid=(1/3)(70.56 ft²)(8.63 ft)=202.9 ft³≈202.3 ft³

Answer: ≈202.3 ft³
