Answer:

1. The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009 was an ambitious policy effort to increase the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs). It was prompted by evidence that the use of EHRs can substantially improve the quality and efficiency of care delivered.

2. Complementing the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, HITECH builds this infrastructure through incentive payments for meaningful use to doctors and hospitals, and through programs that address specific obstacles to health IT adoption and exchange.Jun 1, 2010

3. Because this legislation anticipates a massive expansion in the exchange of electronic protected health information (ePHI), the HITECH Act also widens the scope of privacy and security protections available under HIPAA; it increases the potential legal liability for non-compliance; and it provides for more enforcement.

Explanation:

The Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH Act) is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). ... The HITECH Act was created to motivate the implementation of electronic health records (EHR) and supporting technology in the United States.

What does it feel like whe HS (hydradenitis superitiva) bursts on the inside? how can a person tell?
Yuliya22 [10]

If the boil ruptures under the skin, inflammation and infection spread quickly and new lumps form nearby. HS is a progressive disease so it is bound to get worse over time.  It can be unpredictable. It is different for every person so it can be hard to predict.
