Answer:

The dimensions of the park is 18yd by 18yd

Step-by-step explanation:

A square-shaped park has an area of 324 yd.

A square is composed of equal length dimensions so if the area is 324 yd² ,the dimensions or length if one side of the square will be the root of 324 yd².

Length= √324

Length= 18 yd

Dimensions of the park is 18 yd by 18 yd

Y2-y1 and y=me+b<br> Plzz help me with this
mestny [16]
Well if you have the coordinates (2,2) and (4,4) you plug in the y from the second cords for y2

So it would be 4-2/4-2 and 2/2 equals 1
1 would be the m in y=MX+b
Then plug one set of coords in y=MX+b
2=1x+b

I know it's confusing to understand but I tried lol

If a = √3-√11 and b = 1 /a, then find a² - b²
Serga [27]

If b=\frac1a, then by rationalizing the denominator we can rewrite

b = \dfrac1{\sqrt3-\sqrt{11}} \times \dfrac{\sqrt3+\sqrt{11}}{\sqrt3+\sqrt{11}} = \dfrac{\sqrt3+\sqrt{11}}{\left(\sqrt3\right)^2-\left(\sqrt{11}\right)^2} = -\dfrac{\sqrt3+\sqrt{11}}8

Now,

a^2 - b^2 = (a-b) (a+b)

and

a - b = \sqrt3 - \sqrt{11} + \dfrac{\sqrt3 + \sqrt{11}}8 = \dfrac{9\sqrt3 - 7\sqrt{11}}8

a + b = \sqrt3 - \sqrt{11} - \dfrac{\sqrt3 + \sqrt{11}}8 = \dfrac{7\sqrt3 - 9\sqrt{11}}8

\implies a^2 - b^2 = \dfrac{\left(9\sqrt3 - 7\sqrt{11}\right) \left(7\sqrt3 - 9\sqrt{11}\right)}{64} = \boxed{\dfrac{441 - 65\sqrt{33}}{32}}
