Answer: State of matter is a physical property.

Explanation:

Physical property of substance are those properties which do not disturbs the chemical composition of the substance or matter.

For example: Texture, odor, appearance, melting point ,color etc.

Chemical property of substance are those properties in which changes in chemical composition of the substance or matter is seen.

For examples: Chemical stability, pH, oxidation states etc.

State of a matter (solid , liquid ,gas) is a physical property where as pH , toxicity and rusting ability are examples of chemical property.
