i havent done this in so long but i think the answer is 3.75

\frac{5}{12}  - \frac{3}{10}

\frac{5}{12}  + \frac{10}{3}

\frac{10}{3} x 4 = \frac{40}{12}

\frac{5}{12} + \frac{40}{12} = \frac{45}{12}

45 ÷ 12 = 3.75

At a zoo, the lion pen has a ring-shaped sidewalk around it. The outer edge of the sidewalk is
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

i think the answer is 125.66 (or 125.6 if you use 3.14 as pi)

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the area of the blue circle by multiplying pi times the radius squared to get 380.13 (or 379.94 if multiplied 3.14)

Then find the area of the orange circle by doing the same thing to get 254.47

(or 254.34 if multiplied by 3.14)

finally subtract 380.13-254.47 to get 125.66.

(or 125.6)

Find the surface area of the rectangular prism. 5ft tall 5 feet long 2 feet wide
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

46.25 feet squared

Step-by-step explanation:

base area = 5x2 = 10

you need to find how tall the faces of the prism are now. You can do this using the pythagorean theorem: a^2+b^2=c^2

5^2+2.5^2=c^2 and 5^2+1^2=c^2

(since it is a rectangular pyramid)

c= 5.60 and c= 5.01

now be can find the surface area of the 4 triangles

SA= 5.60x2 and SA= 5.01x5

SA=11.2 and SA= 25.05

add all the components (11.2, 25.05, 10) together to get the final surface area: 46.25

URGENT DUE BY 2:00 WILL RATE GOOD:)
Leona [35]
The area of the square is 4 × 4 which equals 16cm^2. The area of a circle is π × radius^2, so using 3.14 as pi we can say that (3.14 × 16)/4 is the area of the quarter circle. This comes to 12.56, so added to 16 you get 28.56cm^2 as your answer, which can be rounded to 28.6cm^2. I hope this helps!

Tyler has coupon for $1.75 off the purchase of 3 jars of gourmet spaghetti sauce. the sauce cost $ 2.95 per jar. how much will t
gogolik [260]
First calculate how much Tyler would spend without the coupon.

2.95•3= 8.85.

So he would have spent 8.85 dollars on 3 jars of sauce if he didn't have the coupon.
To find out how much he spent with the coupon:

8.85-1.75= 7.10

So Tyler spent 7.10 dollars on the sauce.
