Which is the slope of the line y=−3x+2?y=-3x+2?
Morgarella [4.7K]
The slope is -3.
Finding slope can be easy if you just remember that the formula is set up as y=mx+b.
The number in the 'm' place is always the slope.
Example: y=4x+1, the slope would be 4 because it's in the 'm' place.
If you have trouble remembering which place the slope is, trying thinking about skiing or sledding; you can only sled or ski down a Mountain slope. Mountain starts with M.
M=slope.
Hope this helps :)

What are the roots of this equation 2x^2+7x-3=0
Ludmilka [50]

Step-by-step explanation:

2x^2+7x-3=0

by doing splitting the middle term we get/ using quadratic eq we get-

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

2x2+7x−3=0

For this equation: a=2, b=7, c=-3

2x2+7x+−3=0

Step 1: Use quadratic formula with a=2, b=7, c=-3.

x=

−b±√b2−4ac

2a

x=

−(7)±√(7)2−4(2)(−3)

2(2)

x= −7±√73 /4

x= −7 4 + 1 4 √73 or x= −7 4 + −1 4 √73

Answer:

x= −7 4 + 1 4 √73 or x= −7 4 + −1 4 √73
