to help, i will demonstrate the first problem. This is a right triangle. We know this because it is a 45-45-90 triangle.

Because of this we know that the sides are 2 and 2 (they must be equal).

Now we need the hypotenuse- the side across from the right angle (in other words, the diagonal line).

To do this we take 2 times the square root of two. This makes it 2.82.
