the word "prokaryote" refers to a specific structure that prokaryotes do NOT have that eukaryotes DO. "Eu" means "new/true", while "pro" means "before" andthe structure these names refer to is the nucleus. Prokaryotic organisms to not have their DNA enclosed within a nuclear membrane, while eukaryotes do. If you have ever gotten to look at samples of pro- and eukaryotes under a microscope you will have seen the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell, whereas the DNA of a prokaryotic cell is loose in the cytoplasm.

Answer:

The answer to your question is: letter C

Explanation:

From the graph, we can conclude that catalase has a low activity at low temperatures. Activity increases a little at 30°C and this process is the highest at 40°C, after this temperature, activity disminishes again.

Options:

A. This option is wrong because the number of bubbles at this temperatures is low, maybe the enzyme is already denatured.

B. This answer is wrong, at 30°C the enzyme shows a low activity.

C. This answer is correct because at this temperature the enzyme produces the higher amount of bubbles.

D. The activity of the enzyme at 0°C was not tested.

A 66-year-old patient's echocardiogram reveals a hypertrophied left ventricle, normal chamber volume, and a normal ejection frac
zheka24 [161]
This is a case of a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with preserved ejection fraction. A hypertrophied left ventricle is a echocardiographic sign that there is chronic stress put in the left ventricle, most commonly in overcoming high aortic pressures in patients with systemic hypertension. In this case, there is normal chamber volume and normal ejection fraction therefore the heart is functionally normal and ejection fraction is preserved.
