Alan is somewhat surprised that he has gained a couple of pounds since coming to college. He has never had a weight problem. He was always active every day in high school sports. I believe that it's the amount of food he gets in the cafeteria. Sometimes even though there's no snacking on between meals, if the serving sizes are too large,it can lead to weight gain
