Answer:

C: y = 115,000(1.05)x

Step-by-step explanation:

(havn’t actually did any math, but this is just process of elemination.)

{I’m just looking at the end of these, because the start is all the same}

if the number with the (perenthese) is below 1, it is a decreas, and the problem says it’s increasing by 5%. (1.5) Is equal to 50% increase so that means your answer would be (1.05) Because anything times 1 is the larger number, but when u add that 0.5, it’s raising the number up by 5%.

Answer:

C. y = 115 000(1.05)^x

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for the amount accrued on an investment earning compound interest is

A = P(1 + r)^{t}

where

P = the amount of money invested (the principal)

r = the interest rate per period expressed as a decimal fraction

t = the number of periods

In this problem,

P = $115 000

r =  5 % = 0.05

By 2010, Luca's house will have increased in value for three years. Its value will be

A = 115000(1 + 0.05)^{3}\\\text{The correct formula for the value of his home x years after 2010 is}\\ y = 115000(1.05)^{x}

What would be the answer???
nignag [31]

Answer:

120

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of the angles in a quadrilateral is 360 degrees

2t+t+2t+t = 360

6t = 360

Divide by 6

6t/6 = 360/6

t = 60

Angle Z = 2t

Angle Z = 2*60 = 120

What is the solution of this linear system? x+y=13
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

The solution of the linear equation is: (6,7)

Step-by-step explanation:

This being that:

x + y = 13

1/2x + y = 10

What you do in order to find the solution is either (2 ways):

- Substitution

- Elimination

I'm sure that either way, you'll get the same thing. I used: Substitution.

To do this choose either if you want to find [x] or [y] first, then substitute it in. I will choose to find [x] first.

x + y = 13

           - y

x = 13 - y

Now substitute it into:

1/2x + y = 10

1/2(13 - y) + y = 10

1/2(13 -y) + y= 10

Then to get rid of fraction, instead of dividing, you multiply with reciprocal

1/2 · 2/1 (They cancel out) Leaving you with:

(13 - y) 2(y) = 2(10)

(Everything is multiplied, except for 13 - y, because it had parenthesis to protect it.)

13 - y + 2y = 20

13 + y = 20

- 13       - 13

           y = 7

You now have your [y] for your coordinate.

(x, 7), now time to find your [x]

Now you substitute your [y] into your equation:

1/2x + (7) = 10

1/2x + 7 = 10

          -7 = -7

1/2x = 3

(To get rid of fraction, multiply on both sides with reciprocal)

1/2 cancels out with 2/1

x = 2(3)

x = 6

You now have your [x] coordinate.

This is your coordinate:

(6,7)
