Answer:

4w+4

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation to find the length and width would be 2w+2 but since we need to find the perimeter we have to double it’s 2(2w+2) and the answer would equal to 4w+4

Please don’t trust the answer above me, it is incorrect. I wrote that as my answer and the teacher told me the correct answer is 4w+4. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Area = length x width

Width = w

length = w + 2

Area = w (w+2)

Area = w^2 + 2w

Answer/Step-by-step explanation:

1. m<UTV = m<RTS = 85°

Reason: Definition of vertical angles.

Vertical angles are congruent to each other. m<UTV and m<RTS are vertical angles pair.

2. m<R + m<S + m<RTS = 180°

Reason: sum of interior angles of a ∆.

3. 3x + 2x + 85° = 180°

Reason: Substitution

4. x = 19

Reason: Algebra

Solving the equation algebraically, we would have the following:

3x + 2x + 85° = 180°

Add like terms

5x + 85 = 180

5x = 180 - 85 (subtraction property of equality)

5x = 95

Divide both sides by 5

x = 19

Algebra I<br> Evaluate each function. h ( n ) = 2 n − 5 ; Find h ( 2 )
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

h ( 2 ) = - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Two-Variable Functions</u>

A function expresses the relation between two variables in such a way that for each input for the independent variable n, there one and only one value for the function h(n). If it's explicitly given as an equation, then we can use values for n as we wish, and compute the different values of h(n).

The question provides the following function

h ( n ) = 2 n - 5

We are required to find h(2), which can be computed by replacing n by the value of 2

h ( 2 ) = 2 (2) - 5

h ( 2 ) = 4 - 5

h ( 2 ) = - 1

Choose the polynomial that is written in standard form. (1 point)
Elan Coil [88]
Standard form is where the degree of each monomial decreases from left to right. Degree can be found by adding the exponents on each variable.

The only one where this is true is the first one.
The degree goes from 7 to 4 to 2
