36.

A perfect square is when 2 of the same numbers times each other and make a number. For instance, 2 and 2 makes 4, so 4 is a perfect square.

Heres another example, 8 and 8 make 64, so 64 is a perfect square.

In this case, 36 = 6 *6 ; making it a perfect square!

A perfect square is defined as the product of two equal whole numbers.
For example;
5 x 5 = 25, 25 is a perfect square.

5 has the factors of 1&5 and no self-multiplied factors, so it is NOT a perfect square.
8 has the factors of 1&8 and 2&4, and has no self-multiplied factors so it is NOT a perfect square.
36 has the factors of 1&36, 2&18, 3&12, 4&9, and 6&6.
36 has 6•6, which is a perfect square.

Although there could be more than two numbers that the question's asking for, 44 (simply put) is not a perfect square.

36 is your answer.

I hope this helps!

Solve question 3 for <br> 41 points
Sever21 [200]

Answer:

(2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Our logarithmic expression is: ln(\frac{\sqrt{e} }{y^3} ).

Remember the logarithmic property that ln(a/b) = lna - lnb. So, we can write this as:

ln(\frac{\sqrt{e} }{y^3} )=ln(\sqrt{e} )-ln(y^3)

Also, we can write square roots as powers of one-half, so √e = e^{1/2}. There's another log property that: ln(a^b)=b*ln(a). We can apply that here for both the √e and the y³:

ln(\sqrt{e} )-ln(y^3)=\frac{1}{2} ln(e)-3ln(y)

Finally, note that ln(e) is just 1, so we have:

\frac{1}{2} ln(e)-3ln(y)=\frac{1}{2} -3ln(y)=\frac{1-6ln(y)}{2}

The answer is thus (2).
