6 0

Answer:

Infinitely many solutions.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

3x-2y=12\\ 6x-4y=24

Required;

Find the solution

3x-2y=12 --(1)\\ 6x-4y=24 -- (2)

Make x the subject of formula in (1)

3x-2y=12

Add 2y to both sides

3x-2y+2y=12+2y

3x=12+2y

Divide both sides by 3

\frac{3x}{3}=\frac{12+2y}{3}

x=\frac{12+2y}{3}

Substitute x=\frac{12+2y}{3} in (2)

6x-4y=24

6(\frac{12+2y}{3})-4y=24

2(12+2y)-4y=24

Open Bracket

24+4y-4y=24

24+4y-4y=24

Collect Like Terms

4y-4y=24-24

0 = 0

Based on the result above, the two equations have infinitely many solutions.

How many grams would be in 10 kilograms? <br><br> INEEDHELP!!!!!!
choli [55]

Every kilogram is 1,000 grams, but you want 10 kilograms. You can multiply 1,000 10 times (you can also add 1,000 10 times,) giving you the answer > 10,000.

Hope this helped!

The base of a triangle is 5?45 cm and the height is 3?88 cm. What is the area of the triangle? Recall: A= 1/2bh
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Answer:

10.57 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall that the area of a triangle is gotten by (1/2)*base*height

If the height of the triangle is 5.45cm and the base is 3.88cm, then the area can be calculated by multiplying the two numbers and dividing it by 2.

5.45*3.88 = 21.146cm²

This still needs to be cut in half (otherwise we are yielding the area of a rectangle with these dimensions)

21.146 cm²/2 = 10.573 cm²

This can be rounded to the nearest hundredth

= 10.57 cm²
