This diagram shows the forces acting on a car. The center dot represents the car, and the arrows represent the forces acting on
Mariulka [41]

Answer : The correct option is B- Towards the left.

Solution : Given,

Force on car in upward direction, F_1 = 6000 N

Force on car in downward direction, F_2 = 6000 N

Force on car in right direction, F_3 = 5000 N

Force on car in left direction, F_4 = 6000 N

Force : Force is equal to the mass multiplied by the acceleration. The force is directly proportional to the acceleration.

Formula :  F =  m × a

where, F is force, m is mass and a is acceleration.

From the given diagram we conclude that the F_1 and F_2 are in opposite direction and the force acting on car are same. So, their net force is zero.

And in case of F_3 and F_4, the net force will not be zero because force acting on car are different. The car will accelerate towards left direction because F_4 is higher than the F_3.

So, the car will accelerate towards left direction.

Identify the limiting reactant when 7.81 g of HCl reacts with 5.24 g of NaOH to produce NaCl and H2O
elena55 [62]

Answer:

NaOH is limiting

Explanation:

                                 Hcl   +    NaOH   ------------      Nacl   + H2O

Given                     7.81g        5.24g

mol weights           1+35.5     23+16+1

                                 36.5            40

No of Moles        7.81/36.5       5.24/40

                             0.2139              0.131

No of moles = weight/ molecular weight

No of moles of NaOH is  lower so it is limiting as according to equation one mole of Hcl requires mole of NaOH so equal number of moles are required. NaOH is 0.131 which is far lower than 0.2139

antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

c. an element.

Explanation:

An element -

It refers to the substance , which has same type of atoms , with exactly same number of protons , is referred to as an element .

In term of chemical species , elements are the smallest one , and can not be bifurcated down to any further small substance by the means of any chemical reaction .

Hence , from the given information of the question ,

The correct term is an element  .

The number of nucleons of an isotope represents the total number of..
Elza [17]

Answer:

The mass number (A), also called atomic mass number or nucleon number, is the total number of protons and neutrons (together known as nucleons) in an atomic nucleus. The mass number is different for each different isotope of a chemical element.

10 POINTS.
enot [183]

There are a total of 40 valence electrons in the PCl5 Lewis structure. Remember when you draw the Lewis structure for PCl5 that Phosphorous (P) is in Period 3 on the Periodic table. This means that it can hold more than 8 valence electrons.

I hope this helps and please don't report
