Answer:

The value of A in the given graph of the equation is 1

That is A=1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given graph of the equation is Ax+2y=-2

Given that the equation of line Ax+2y=-2 passes through the point (2,-2)

Let (x,y) br the point (2,-2)

Therefore we have that

A(2)+2(-2)=-2

2A-4=-2

2A-4+2=-2+2

2A-2=0

2A=2

A=\frac{2}{2}

Therefore A=1

Therefore the value of A in the given graph of the equation is 1

Svet_ta [14]

Answer:

y = 4000 (when x = 0)

Step-by-step explanation:

The initial value of the exponential equation is:

y = 4000\cdot (1.05)^{0}

What are the discriminants for all of graphs?
Oksanka [162]

Hi!

Positive discriminants will give you two solutions.

Discriminants equal to zero will give you one solution.

Negative discriminants will give you no solutions.

In a graph, the number of solutions is where the graph crosses the x-axis.

In the first graph, we can see it intersects the graph at two points: (2, 0) and (6, 0). Since there are two solutions it is a positive discriminant.

In the second graph, we can see it intersects at one point: the origin, or (0, 0). Since there is one solution it is a discriminant equal to zero.

In the third graph, we can see it doesn't intersect; it is above the x-axis. Since there are no solutions it is a negative discriminant.
