3 0

Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

First, notice that these two triangles are similar using AA.

Because sides BC and EC are corresponding, you can divide 24 by 8, to determine that the ratio of similitude is 3.

That means that because sides AC and DC are corresponding, 25 - 2x divided by x is 3.

25 - 2x / x = 3

25 - 2x = 3x

25 = 5x

x = 5

x is the same as side CD, so CD = 5.

A gym teacher has $250 to spend on volleyball equipment. She buys 4 volleyball nets for $28 each. Volleyball cost $7 each. How m
Sonbull [250]
First find out how much the 4 volleyball nets are by using 4*28 which would equal to 112. Now subtract 112 from 250 and that leaves you with 138. Then you divide 138 by 7 which will give you about 19.7 which you need to take all decimals out since it isn’t an whole number. The gym teacher can only buy 19 volleyballs.

Find difference 7 7/8-3 1/4
umka2103 [35]
So first convert to improper fractions
7 and 7/8=7+7/8=56/8+7/8=63/8

3 and 1/4=3+1/4=12/4+1/4=13/4

so nowe we have
63/8+13/4
convert bottom number to same
which is 8
13/4 times 2/2=26/8
now we have
63/8-26/8=37/8=4 and 5/8
answer is 4 and 5/8
