If the x-axis ordered pair is (0,0) and the y-axis ordered pair is (0,0), it is just where the lines intersect or also known as the origin. Both x and y can have a (0) in it.

for example let's say that you have an ordered pair on the X-axis of (5,0) and a ordered pair on the y-axis of (-3,0) it would look like that^^

or if it was just (0,0) it would be a dot in the middle

What is the length of EF and the measure of ∡D?
Bad White [126]

Answer:

The given information tells you that you have two congruent triangles. That means that all of the side lengths and angles will have the same measurement. So if the length of line CB is 10, then the length of the equivalent side of the second triangle (EF is also 10). Angle A and Angle D will also have the same measurement. Therefore, measurement of angle D is also 37 degrees.

Find the equation of the linear function represented by the table below in slope-intercept form
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

\huge\boxed{y=2x-2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope-intercept form of an equation of a line:

y=mx+b

<em>m</em><em> - slope</em>

<em>b</em><em> - y-intercept → (0, b)</em>

The formula of a slope:

m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

<em>(x₁; y₁); (x₂; y₂) </em><em>- points on a line</em>

From the table we have

(1,\ 0)\to x_1=1;\ y_1=0\\\\(2,\ 2)\to\ x_2=2;\ y_2=2

Substitute:

m=\dfrac{2-0}{2-1}=\dfrac{2}{1}=2

Put the value of a slope and coordinates of the point (1, 0) to the equation of a line:

0=2(1)+b

0=2+b          <em>subtract 2 from both sides</em>

-2=b\to b=-2

Finally we have:

y=2x-2

Evaluate the function!!! 10 points. Help needed!
likoan [24]

ANSWER

f( - 3) =   - \frac{9 }{7}

EXPLANATION

The given function is

f(x) =  \frac{2 {x}^{2} }{3x - 5}

We want to find f(-3)

We substitute x=-3 into the function to get;

f( - 3) =  \frac{2 {( - 3)}^{2} }{3( - 3) - 5}

Simplify;

f( - 3) =  \frac{2  \times 9 }{ - 9- 5}

f( - 3) =   - \frac{18 }{ 14}

f( - 3) =   - \frac{9 }{7}

87.6564 to DP Please help me, thanks
kirill115 [55]
<span>1.       </span><span>DP , you mean decimal points?
87.6564 is already written in decimals points.
it is a combination of a whole number and a decimal points.
=> 87 is the whole number where 8 is tens and 7 is the ones.
=> 6564 is the decimal numbers where 6 next to the decimal point is tenths, 5 is hundredths, 6 is the thousandths and 4 is the ten thousandths.
When you round this number to its nearest tenths, it becomes 87.7</span>

What is the area of a triangle whose vertices are R(−4,2) , S(1,2) , and T(−5,−4)?
olga_2 [115]

Fisrt is solve the distance of the segments using distance formula

Distance =sqroot[(x2−x1)^2+(y2−y1)^2]

So ditance of RS = 5

ST = 8.49

TR =6.08

The using herons formula

Area = sqrt ( s ( s-a) ( s-b) ( s-c) )

Where s s = 1/2 ( a + b + c )

And a, b , c are length of the sides

S = 9.785

Area = 14.99
