Depression is a mental disorder that is classified as feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and despair that last more than a few weeks and affect an individuals ability to function properly. Depression is treatable and you should contact a trusted adult about it.

depression is a medical disorder. it can happen to anyone, and there are many reasons. someone i knew was depressed just because of the way our government runs things. the abuse may also cause you to be depressed.
