D. The y-intercept does not matter when figuring out when lines are perpendicular to each other. The slopes have to be the complete opposites of each other. That means that if one slope is negative, the other is positive, and you have to flip the numerator and denominator of a fraction. If it is a whole number, the new numerator would be 1 and that number would be the denominator
