So 6 people split 143.40. 143.40/6 = 23.90. Thats how much each person paid for the dinner. Add the 7.50 they paid for the movie and you would get 31.40$ total for each person. If this is right could I possibly have brainliest? Hope this helped!! :)

Serga [27]
They have enough balloons because I used division as my operation. 3 can go into 16 five times. I got 1 after subtracting and bring down 2. 3 can go into 12 evenly 4 times. 12 minus 12 equals 0 with no remainder. So, they get 54 balloons for each group. But I want to know how many EACH student gets enough balloons. 54 divided by 6 groups equals 9 balloons for each student. Mount Kilimanjaro is approximately 19,000 feet in height. as you go up in altitude through the atmosphere near earth surface the
horsena [70]

Answer:

10℉

Step-by-step explanation:

9,000 feet - 4000 feet  (because the camp is 4000 feet above sea level) = 5000 feet

for every 1000 ft you decrease by 3.6℉ therefore 5(3.6) = 18 degrees

when you get to the top it is -8℉ to find out the temp at base camp you just add 18 ℉ to the final tempreture

-8 +18 = 10℉

Jessie says to round 763,400 to the nearest ten thousand, he will round to 770,000 is he right ? explain
weqwewe [10]

For this case we have the following definition:

ten thousand place: number of five digits whose absolute value is greater than zero.

Then, we have the following rounding rule:

1) If the previous number is greater than or equal to five, then the next number increases by one unit.

2) If the previous number is less than or equal to five, then the next number remains the same.

We then have the following number:

763,400

Rounding to the nearest ten thousand we have:

760,000

Answer:

Jessie is wrong. The correct answer is:

760,000
