The additive inverse of this number is the amount Emily must withdraw each month. B. Emily can subtract 48 – 12 – 44 to find her total expenses. The additive inverse of this number is the amount Emily must deposit each month. C. Emily can subtract –48 – (–12) – (–44) to find her total expenses. The additive inverse of this number is the amount Emily must deposit each month. D. Emily can add (–48) + (–12) + (–44) to find her total expenses. Answer:

As you know that Additive inverse of any number

 A = - A  , For example additive inverse of 2 is -2

or additive inverse of (-2) is 2.

Now, According to the question given

Emily has fixed monthly expenses that are taken directly out of her bank account.

As she wants to know,  how much money she must deposit in her account each month to cover these expenses.

So, Expenses are Additive inverse of Deposit or Deposit are additive inverse of Expenses.

Out of the given Options Option D which is, Emily can add (–48) + (–12) + (–44) to find her total expenses. The additive inverse of this number is the amount Emily must deposit each month. is correct.

Estimated difference of 7 17/20 - 6 2/5
amm1812
Is always easier to subtract or add fractions with the same denominator, so
6 2/5 is the same as 6  8/20
I would suggest turning them both to improper fractions,
(You multiply 6 by the denominator 20 and get 120 then add 8)
6 8/20 = 128/20
and then do the same with 7 17/20  (Mutiply 7 and 20 and then add 17)
7 17/20 = 157/20

157/20 - 128/20 = 29/20 or 1 9/20

A small company is creating a new product to sell to buyers. They have estimated that it will cost them $6 to produce each item
miv72 [106K]

Answer:

$347,600

Step-by-step explanation:

There is fixed startup cost of 242,000 no matter how many units they product.

Also, each unit costs 6 to produce, so to produce 17,600 items, it's going to cost:

17,600 * 6 = 105,600

Along with this the fixed startup cost of 242,000, would make total cost:

Total cost = 242,000 + 105,600 = $347,600
