2.88 times 1/4 = $0.72

The answer would be $0.72. Because 2.88 dived by 4 equals .72. How did I get that answer you ask. Well it states that he buys one fourth of a pound of crackers. 1/4 is a division problem believe it or not. You divide it by four because four is the denominator. It basically is splitting the pound into fourths
