Answer:

f = 700 Hz

Explanation:

given

amplitude =a= 7.5 \times 10^{-7} m

speed v =3.3 \times 10^{-3} m/s

for (a)

we know v_{max} = a\omega

and \omega = 2\pi f

we get

v_{max} = a( 2 \pi f)

f = \frac{v_{max}}{2 \pi a}

f =  \frac{ 3.3 \times 10^{-3}}{ 2 \times 3.14 \times 7.5 \times 10^{-7}}

f = 700 Hz

vichka [17]

Answer:

Distance: 4.6km Displacement= -0.2km

Explanation:

Total distance: 1.5+2.4+0.7= 4.6 km

Displacement: 1.5-2.4+0.7= -0.2km

The displacement may also be 0.2km, it just depends on if it wants it negative or not.

Inga [223]
<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

Solid

<h3><u>Explanation</u>;</h3>
  • Some elements have a low degree of freedom and high intermolecular forces between its molecules. These elements are solid at room temperature.
  • Elements can be classified based on physical states, or the states of matter. At room temperature and pressure the Physical States, or states of matter, are solids, gases or liquids and these are referred to as the 3 states of matter.
  • Some elements such as most metals are solids at room temperatures, others such as oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, etc are a gases and others are liquids.

Explain what happens to the motion of a particle as a wave passes through a medium. How is the motion of the particles like the
bezimeni [28]
  1. As they vibrate, they pass the disturbance of energy to the particles next to them, which passes the energy to the particles next to them, and so on.
  2. Energy travels down the spring and reflected like the motion of a mass on a spring.

<u>Explanation</u>:

  • Particle motion is the superposition of a large component due to the fluid drag toward the filter barrier and a random component due to Brownian motion.
  • The particles of the medium just vibrate in place. As they vibrate, they pass the unsettling influence of energy to the particles beside them, which passes the energy to the particles by them, etc.
  • Energy goes down the spring and reflected like the movement of a mass on a spring.

A refrigerator has a mass of 88 kg. What is the weight of the refrigerator?
Sonja [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Hi there!

From the question;

Mass (m)= 88kg

Acceleration due to gravity (g)= 9.8m/s²

Then;

Weight (W) = m*g

                  = 88*9.8

                  = 862.4 N

Therefore, the weight of refrigerator is 862 N.

Answer: <u>Option A.</u>

Hope it helps!
