There is 2 figure here, a triangle and a parallelogram.
Area of parallelogram=base * height
                                   A=9 * 5
                                   A=45m²
Area of triangle= \frac{1}{2} (base * height)
                        A=\frac{1}{2} (9*8)
                        A=\frac{1}{2}72
                        A=36m²
36+45=81m²
The area of this figure is 81m²

Kyle drew three line segments with lengths: 2/4 inch 2/3inch, and 2/6 inch list the fractions in order from least to greatest
Sati [7]
----------------------------------------------------------------
Method 1
 ----------------------------------------------------------------
Since the numerators are the same, the smaller the denominators, the greater the fraction is.

Arranging from the least to the greatest
\dfrac{2}{6} \ , \ \dfrac{2}{4} \ , \ \dfrac{2}{3}

----------------------------------------------------------------
Method 2
----------------------------------------------------------------
Lets change all to the same denominators

\dfrac{2}{4}  =  \dfrac{2 \times 3}{4 \times 3}  =  \dfrac{6}{12}

\dfrac{2}{3}  =  \dfrac{2 \times 4}{3 \times 4}  =  \dfrac{8}{12}

\dfrac{2}{6}  =  \dfrac{2 \times 2}{6 \times 2}  =  \dfrac{4}{12}

Now that all the denominators are the same, we can arrange the fractions by comparing the numerators. The bigger the numerators, the greater the fraction.

Arranging from the least to the greatest
\dfrac{2}{6} \  , \   \dfrac{2}{4}  \ , \   \dfrac{2}{3}

For the following pair of lines, identify the system by type.
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

Inconsistent

Step-by-step explanation:

A system of equation is said to be inconsistent if the lines are parallel or the system of equations have no solution.

From the given graphs of lines, we can say that the lines are parallel to each other. Hence, the graphs never intersect.

Since, the lines are parallel hence, we can say that there would be no solution for the system of equations.

Therefore, the system is inconsistent.

Hence, third option is the correct option.
