The formula for finding the measure of interior angles in a regular octagon is

(the number of sides the shape has - 2) * 180/ the number of sides

(8-2) *180/ 8

6*180/ 8 =     1080/8 = 135

The size of each interior angle in a regular octagon is 135°

To do this you divide 360 by 8 which equals 45
The exterior angle is 45°
So to find the interior angle you do 180-45=135
So one interior angle is 135°

The cost of one container of popcorn and granola is $6.5 and $2.5.

Linear system

It is a system of an equation in which the highest power of the variable is always 1. A one-dimension figure that has no width. It is a combination of infinite points side by side.

Given

A group of friends bought 5 containers of popcorn and 4 granola bars at the movie theatre for $42.50.

The next week, the same group of friends bought 3 containers of popcorn and 6 granola bars for $34.50.

To find

The equation and solution of the equation.

How to get it?

Let p represent the cost of one container of popcorn.

Let g represent the cost of one granola bar.

A group of friends bought 5 containers of popcorn and 4 granola bars at the movie theatre for $42.50.

5p + 4g = 42.50 .....1

The next week, the same group of friends bought 3 containers of popcorn and 6 granola bars for $34.50.

3p + 6g = 34.50 .....2

From Equations 1 and 2, we have

p = 6.5  and  g = 2.5

Thus, the cost of one container of popcorn and granola is $6.5 and $2.5.

Answer:

The width of the lid is 15 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The Perimeter of a Rectangle

Given a rectangle of width W and height H, the perimeter is calculated as:

P = 2(W + L)

Jon used 56 cm of ribbon to go around the edge of a rectangular lid. This means the perimeter is:

2(W + L) = 56

Dividing by 2:

W + L = 28

Since the lid was L=13 cm long, the width is:

W = 28 - 13 = 15

The width of the lid is 15 cm
