Explanation:

Given that,

Frequency of the AM radio station, f=1020\ kHz=1020\times 10^3\ Hz

(a) Let \lambda is the wavelength of this electromagnetic radiation. It can be calculated as :

\lambda=\dfrac{c}{f}

\lambda=\dfrac{3\times 10^8\ m/s}{1020\times 10^3\ Hz}

\lambda=294.11\ m

Since the wavelength of one cycle is 294.12 m, then the total number of cycles over a 3 km distance is:

n=\dfrac{3000}{294.12}=10.19\ cycles

Let the period is the duration of one cycle is given by:

T=\dfrac{1}{f}

T=\dfrac{1}{1020\times 10^3}

T=9.8\times 10^{-7}\ s

So, total time required is t as :

t=n\times T

t=10.19\times 9.8\times 10^{-7}

t=9.98\times 10^{-6}\ s

List both chemical equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration. It is okay to use words for the equations, but you als
iragen [17]

A simple word equation that can be used to describe the process of photosynthesis is carbon dioxide + water —> glucose + oxygen + water. A balanced chemical equation for the process can be written as 6CO2 + 6H2O —> C6H12O6 + 6O2. Overall, photosynthesis uses light energy to convert carbon dioxide into a carbohydrate.

 The balanced chemical equation for cellular respiration is C6H12O6 + 6O2 -> 6CO2 + 6H2O, says Biology Web. This does not include the approximate 38 adenosine triphosphates in the equation, according to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University. This is also known as ATP.

Cell phones are technology that is popular throughout the world. Would this technology be of use in rural areas of the world
bonufazy [111]
Unless there is service it wifi, no. To access most features on a cellphone you need wifi or service. These features can include communicating with others or watching a video. Cellphones are practically useless without internet connection.

A bus traveling in a straight line goes 15 miles in 18 minutes. What is its average speed in miles per hour?
Vikki [24]

Explanation:

Distance travelled by bus(s)=15 miles

Time taken(t)=18 minutes

=18/60 hours=0.3hours

now

average speed=distance travelled /time taken

=15/0.3 =50 miles per hour
