Drug users are at a greater risk for a disease that is caused by a virus, such as hepatitis. Some blood containing the virus remains in the needle and is injected in another person when needles are shared.

Further Explanation:

Injurious effects of drugs are:

  • To affect the memory of the brain
  • To affect growth.
  • To birth defect.
  • To cause behaviour and learning problems.
  • Hallucination

Drug users are at very high risk for the disease that is can be developed due to virus, for example hepatitis. This can develop due to the presence of a virus in the blood which is remaining in the needle and the needle is injected in any other person.
